Gary Michael White

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Michael White, who left us peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Gary was a resident of Clyo, Georgia, where he spent a fulfilling and joyous life surrounded by family and friends. He was 77 years old.

Born on Saturday, September 25, 1948, Gary touched the lives of many with his warm smile and generous spirit. He was the beloved husband of Ruby Annette White, his devoted partner of 53 years. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared a love that stood as a testament to their unwavering commitment.

Gary was the proud father of two daughters, Heather (Kenny) Anderson and Marie (Tony) Hudson. He cherished his grandchildren, Virlynda (James) Anderson-Feezor and Dalton (Ashlyn) Anderson, and was blessed with 10 great-grandchildren, who will all carry forward his legacy of love and kindness.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, William Columbus White and Nora Mae White, as well as his brothers, Gene White and Harry White.

Gary worked diligently as an Overnight Shift Supervisor at Georgia Pacific, where his colleagues admired his dedication and respected his leadership. Outside of work, Gary was a man of diverse interests. He enjoyed playing pool and cards, casting a line while fishing, and pondering life’s lessons as he read his bible. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family, making each moment memorable with his unwavering love and laughter.

As we bid farewell to Gary, we remember the incredible mark he left on our hearts and lives, treasuring the memories and the countless ways he enriched our lives. His presence will be deeply missed, but the love and wisdom he imparted will remain with us forever.
