Faye Morris Sanders

Mrs. Faye Morris Sanders, 60, passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, December 13, 2019.

Faye was born and raised in Faulkville, where she lived most of her life. She was a member of Meldrim Baptist Church and a 1978 graduate of Effingham County High School.

Faye was always a happy person, a friend to many and would always leave you laughing. She was the life of the party! Faye was a very family-oriented person, loved being with her family, and helping anyone in need. She loved her dogs, doing crafts of all kinds, cooking for family and friends, listening to music and taking care of people.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie and Gerry Morris; sister, Sherry Harvey; and brother, Kenny Morris, all of Faulkville.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Ronnie Sanders; sons, Russ(Lisa) Sanders of Faulkville, and Josh(Gracen) Sanders of Nashville, TN; sisters, Eva Jean Hendrix (William) of Brooklet, Brenda Morris of Statesboro, and twin sister, Kaye Shuman of Rincon; and several sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins

A visitation for friends and family will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 5 – 7PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2017 at 11AM in the chapel of Riggs Funeral Home with Pastor and lifelong friend Steve Purnell officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Hendrix, Kris Shuman, Jamie Smith, Steven Mascarello, Mike Harvey, and Kendall Wilson.
