Eric Victor Carothers

Eric Victor Carothers, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, at Effingham County Hospital.

Eric was born on July 29, 1965, in San Bernardino, California, to the late Robert and Mary Carothers. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Stacy, with whom he shared 24 years of marriage.

Eric had a passion for Harley motorcycles and loved spending time fishing, whether in freshwater or saltwater. Above all, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Matthew Carothers and Greg Carothers

Eric will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Stacy; his son, Bodhi Carothers (Katelyn) of Rincon, Georgia; his daughter, Erin Harvey of Guyton, Georgia; his brother, Nathaniel Carothers; his grandchildren, Magnolia Carothers, Koe Barton, and Levi Harvey; and several nieces and nephews.

He will be missed by all those who cherished him.
