Dorothy "Doris" Elizabeth Biggans

Dorothy "Doris" Elizabeth Biggans,79, born on June 25, 1945, in Savannah, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Riverview Health & Rehab. Doris was a devoted homemaker who found immense joy in spending time of her loving family.

Throughout her life, Doris had an enduring passion for reading. Books were her gateway to the world, providing her with both an escape and a means to explore new places. She cherished the moments spent with a good book in hand, allowing herself to be transported to different realms and experiences.

Doris's love for her family was a defining feature of her character. She treasured each moment shared with her loved ones, and her unwavering support and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Nicholas “Nick” Biggans, Sr.; parents, Ivy and Alice Morris; daughter, Lisa Williams; and several brothers and sisters. 

Doris leaves behind her daughter, Connie Perkins (Jonathan) of Guyton; son, Nicholas “June Bug” Biggans, Jr. (Maybell Blackburn) of Springfield; grandsons, Justin Farmer (Rachel) and Conner Perkins; great grandsons, Samuel Farmer and Waylon Farmer; 2 brothers and 1 sister; a number of step grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
