Dennis Wayne Pittman

Dennis Wayne Pittman, known by all as Wayne, 68, passed away January 14, 2024 surrounded by family in his home under the care of hospice. 

Wayne was born and raised in Effingham County and well known for his love of the woods. He loved to hunt and fish every chance he got. He also had a passion for playing the guitar and farming.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Joel Pittman Sr.; mother, Ida Mae Pittman, and brother, Henry Joel Pittman Jr.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 38 years, Monika Pittman; son, Chris Pittman (Christina); daughters, Rachel Pittman and Sheila Terry; as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, David Pittman (Danlynn); sisters, Marie Shuman (Jack), Judy Westberry, and Patsy Mcbride (Randy); sister in law, Jannie Pittman; and several nieces and nephews.
