Debra Porter

Springfield- Debra Gail Porter, 61, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2017, at her residence.

Debra was born in Bulloch, County on March 8, 1955, was a 1973 graduate of Screven County High School and worked for The White Stag. She was a member of Oliver United Methodist Church but attended Mizpah United Methodist for the past several years.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Preston Porter.

Survivors include: her mother, Janice Porter of Springfield; brother, James Bourne Porter (Karen) of Springfield; two sisters, Lynn Porter Murray (Carey) of Sylvania and Peggy Porter Page (Tony) of Springfield; 9 nieces & nephews and 10 great nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2017, from 10-11 a.m. at Riggs Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.

Pallbears will be Chad Murray, Wesley Porter, Duane Owen, Dallas Owens, Travis Kilgore and Daniel Troup.

Interment: Mizpah United Methodist Church Cemetery.
