Rincon

-Rincon- Debra A. (Elwell) Moulton, 65, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Memorial Health University, surrounded by her loving family.

Debra was born in Danbury, Connecticut and lived there most of her life before moving to Rincon in 2019, after retirement, to be with her family. She was a 1975 graduate of Danbury High School. After graduation, Debra began her career in the dry-cleaning industry until her retirement in 2019.

She loved duck pin bowling and bowled for many years at War Memorial until they closed and then she continued to bowl in leagues at Danbury Duck Pin Lanes. In her free time, she also enjoyed riding motorcycles. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandkids always enjoyed keeping her busy. Her greatest joy came through watching her grandson, Aiden, excel in playing the trumpet, watching her grandson, Owen, play baseball and basketball, and watching her granddaughter, Macie, play softball.

Debra is survived by her husband, Jay R. Moulton of Rincon; son, Jason Moulton; daughter, Melissa Champagne (Michael); grandchildren, Aiden, Owen, and Macie Champagne; brother, Timothy H. Elwell(Jeanine); niece, Maia E. Barber (Christopher); great nieces, Mila and Parker Barber; nephew, Devin M. Elwell (Hunter); and granddogs, Savage, Lego and Bradley.

Debra’s wish was that there be no funeral and instead a celebration of life be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Debra's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place,  Memphis, TN 38105.
