-Jesup- Mrs. Dea Brown Swailes, 62, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016, at St. Joseph Hospital.
Dea was born to Richard and Theresa H. Brown on April 11, 1954 in South Dakota and had lived in Jesup for a number of years. She was a bookkeeper, homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Swailes; mother, Theresa Brown; daughters, Shawna Richard and Stephanie Thomas; step-sons, Steven Swailes and Jason Swailes; brothers, Richard Lewis Brown, Jr., Roger Lyle Brown and Randall Mark Brown; sisters, Patrice Tanguay and Christina Krimble; and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, from 10 to 11 a.m. with graveside services to follow in the North Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
