Danny Gene Weaver, Sr

-Clyo- Mr. Danny Gene Weaver, Sr.,73, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Mr. Danny was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee and lived in Effingham County for a number of years. He was a welder, a member of Silverhill United Methodist Church and an avid fisherman.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Estell Steed Weaver.
Survivors include his son, Gene Weaver (Ruth E.) of Georgetown, South Carolina; daughter, Cynthia White (James A.) of Clyo; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Riggs Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of Riggs Funeral Home on Sunday, October 2, at 12:30 p.m. with burial to follow in the Turkey Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery.
