Dale Franklin Bragg

Mr. Dale Franklin Bragg, 70, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at his residence, after a long illness,  surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Dale was born in Guyton on November 2, 1949 to Wilbur K. and Frances Edwards Bragg.  He was a proud Veteran serving in the Georgia Army National Guard artillery unit # 214 for 10 years and serving in the Air National Guard 165th for 11 years. A proud member of Elam Egypt Baptist Church, he was a deacon of the church for many years and a Sunday School teacher. Above all, he loved his family and his Lord.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Frances Bragg.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 45 years, Denise Bragg; daughters, Nikki Danker (Michael) of Newington, Kristi Bragg of Sylvania, and Sherri Blitch (Joe) of Brooklet; grandchildren: Christopher, Emily, Avery, Riley, Bailey, Kenny, Breayna, Mallory, and Frankie; brothers, Mike Bragg (Joyce) of Springfield, and Rickie Bragg (Cathy) of Clyo; several nieces and nephews; beloved friend, K.C.; and his beloved goats.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Elam Egypt Baptist Church on Saturday, December 21, 2019, from 1 – 3pm with funeral services to follow at 3pm. Burial will be held in the Foy Cemetery.
