Copper Harden

d. December 12, 2025

Copper was rescued at just six months old and went on to spend ten beautiful years living a wonderful, comfy life with his family, who loved him beyond measure. He came home to a rowdy bunch and fit right in from the very beginning. From the moment he arrived, he belonged.

He was the sweetest dog, full of loyalty and quiet comfort, though he could be very protective when he felt his people needed him. Copper had a gentle way of watching over his home, always nearby, always caring, and he brought laughter simply by being himself.

Copper was always there — through joy, sadness, grief, sorrow, and happiness. He was the kind of dog who never left your side. He would curl right up in the bed with you while you felt any and every emotion, offering comfort without ever needing a word.

He always did “shake” with his left hand — sometimes you didn’t even have to ask. You could be sitting there and Copper would walk over, sit right in front of you, and lift his left paw, as if reminding you he was ready. He loved human food just as much as he loved his people and could often be found sitting patiently in front of you, waiting hopefully for a bite.

Most days, Copper could be found sleeping peacefully or laying in the grass, basking in the sun, completely content just being where he was loved. He filled his home with warmth, joy, and unconditional love.

Copper was very loved and will be deeply missed every single day. He was more than a pet — he was family, a comfort, and a constant presence that can never be replaced.
