Christopher Ruben Rahn

Christopher Ruben Rahn, 60, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018, at his residence.

Chris was born April 18, 1958 in Savannah, GA and lived in Effingham County all of his life.

He was a high school graduate from Effingham Academy in 1976 and went on to a life long career at Rahn's Tire. Chris was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching all sports. In his time off he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting.

Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Reiser Rahn and his sister, Salena Rahn.

Surviving is his wife of 38 years, Sherry Kessler Rahn; daughter, Carrie Rahn; father, Ruben Rahn; and brother, Bartow Rahn. He is also survived by his uncle and aunt, Otho and Mary Shealey; uncle and aunt, Carol and Jeannie Rahn; along with several nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Riggs Funeral Home, Guyton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Bible Lutheran Church in Rincon.

Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
