Christopher Ryan Holt

Christopher Ryan Holt, 31, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018, at his residence.

Chris was born on May 11, 1987 in Savannah, GA. He lived in Guyton for most of his life, where he graduated from South Effingham High School. Chris loved spending time with his family, being outdoors, playing and watching sports and listening classic rock music.

He is preceded by his father, Grady Charles D. Holt; grandfather, Grady R. Holt; and grandmother, Carole E. King.

Chris is survived by: his wife, Heather and their four children, Braelyn, Rylan, Anberlin, and Maverick; his mother, Selina Wilson (Johnny); brother, Grady “Charlie” Holt (Laura); sister, Trista Holt; step sister, Jonna Thompson (Ben); grandparents, Olin King (Tina), and Vera Holt; and a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30pm on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Countryside Baptist Church in Guyton, GA with Pastor David Thaxton officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation starting at 11am on the day of the service.

Burial will be private at a later date.
