With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Chasity Leigh Brabham, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who left this world on Thursday, July 16th, 2026, at the age of 45.
Chasity was born on November 15th, 1980, in Savannah, Georgia, to her parents Wayne Luther Burns III and Donnette Redding.
Chasity was a vibrant soul whose energetic and outgoing personality touched the lives of many. She was a free spirit who embraced life with open arms, finding joy in the simplest of pleasures. Her love for running and the serenity found by the river were a testament to her desire for peace and harmony in nature. Chasity found comfort in solo dates, cherished moments of solitude, and drinking a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Nothing meant more to her than spending time with her daughter and cherished grandchildren.
Chasity relished the time spent by the water, casting a line and waiting patiently for a catch, a reflection of her patient and enduring character. Chasity and her sister Shannan shared a special bond and could spend hours on the phone, their conversations often jumping from one topic to another, filled with laughter, love, and the playful nature of their shared “A.D.D. Conversations”. To know Chasity was to feel loved. She never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel like family. Her zest for life was evident in her radiant smile and infectious laughter, which will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father; Wayne Luther Burns III.
Chasity leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory forever. She is survived by her devoted mother; Donnette Redding (John), her cherished daughter; Hailey Gutierrez (Bryant), grandchildren; Dean Jay Gutierrez and Daniella Villeda Charlene Gutierrez, her sisters; Shannan Burns (George), and Becca Burns (J.J.), her stepbrother, Little John Redding, her nephews Kodah Rericha, Kaden, and Kohin Griffin, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service to honor Chasity’s life on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Carlson and Riggs Funeral Home.
Though she is no longer with us, Chasity's spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her, forever remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for life.
