Charles A Malphus

-Rincon- Mr. Charles A. Malphus, 83, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016, at his residence.
Mr. Malphus was an Effingham County native, retired truck driver and a member of Shepherd of Grace Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Shirley Malphus of Rincon; three daughter, Jean Redman of Jacksonville, Florida, Donna Malphus of Springfield and Linda Jones of Rincon; two sisters, Mary Dixon of Gay, Georgia and Janice Brinkman of South Carolina; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Thursday, June 30, 2016, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon with funeral services to follow in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Turkey Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Malphus' family request donations be made to his wife or to the funeral home to offset the cost of the funeral.
