It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Chad Lewis Patterson, age 40, on Saturday, July 11th, 2026.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, on Tuesday, September 24th, 1985, to his parents Capri Patterson and Charles Edward Patterson Jr.
Chad is survived by his devoted spouse, Morgan Patterson; sons Ethan Patterson, Ryan Patterson, and Logan Patterson; daughter Emma Patterson; aunt and uncle Michele and Frank Patterson; aunt Janice Armstrong; brother Charles Edward Patterson III; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Chad was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Charles Edward Patterson Jr. and Capri Patterson; and brother Christopher Patterson.
Chad was an Eagle Scout from Boy Scout Troop 295. In Guyton. He earned his Eagle Scout award in 2003. Chad was also known for his dedication to his work in construction, showcasing his remarkable skills and passion for turning visions into reality. His meticulous nature and affinity for tinkering allowed him to fix anything.
Beyond his work, Chad enjoyed a life filled with adventures and hobbies. He found peace and joy in fishing and hunting; he created intricate pieces through wood burning and carving. Chad had an innate love for traveling and never missed an opportunity to explore new places. Above all, Chad cherished his family and the precious moments spent together.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Guyton Cemetery, Guyton, Georgia, on Saturday, July 25th, 2026, at 4:00 pm, where Chad will be laid to rest.
Chad’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
