Rincon

On Sunday, October 28th, 2018, Catherine Clytie Traywick Loving wife, sister, and mother, passed away at the age of 66.

Cat was born on January 6th, 1952 in Great Lakes, IL. to James and Priscilla Cornwell. She spent much of her life in the Pacific Northwest and always considered Oregon as her home. A lifelong learner, she received Bachelor's Degree in Education from Oregon State University and her Master's Degree in Instructional Design from National University. Cat used her education and life experiences to encourage learning in others.  She was proud of her work developing training programs for the US Military and for major international airlines. However, she was most proud of her time as an elementary school teacher in Kent, WA. In her retirement, she continued to share her passion for education as a life coach.

Cat loved traveling with her husband Ron and spending time near the ocean. Her favorite days included watching storms through the window while reading a good book. She was also a volunteer for several local organizations, and a dedicated member of her online Beta Sigma Phi chapter. In her final years she found community with her Women's Bible study group at Compassion Christian Church. She was known for her great sense of humor, positive attitude and willingness to help others in their time of need.

Cat was preceded in death by her father, James, and her Mother Priscilla. She is survived by her husband Ron, son Jeremy, sister Candi, nephew Anthony, niece Angela, and countless friends which she always considered family. Memorial services will be held in private ceremonies in Rincon, GA. and Seattle, WA.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Cats' honor may be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.Diabetes.org.
