Cassie B. Ford passed away July 12,2016, at Effingham Care Center, Springfield.
She was born in Screven County to the late Harry D. and Estella Thompson Bazemore. She resided in Springfield over 70 years and was a member of Springfield Methodist Church.
Mrs. Ford had worked for St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah and Effingham Care Center. She was lovingly cared for by the staff of Effingham Care Center.
Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Ford, her parents; her brother, Leholmes Bazemore; and her son, Jerry F. Ford, and his wife, Betty Jane Vaughn Ford.
Survivors include her children and spouses, Betty and Dale Renfro, Jody and Kitty Ford, Steve, and Chris Ford, 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren and many extended family members.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 10-11:00 A. M. at Abundant Life Church,1541 Highway 21-S, Springfield, with funeral services to follow at 11:00 A. M. at the church. Interment in Springfield Cemetery.
