Carolyn Vondell Stone Morgan

Mrs. Carolyn Vondell Stone Morgan, 66, passed away at her residence on Thursday, November 2, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Vondell was born in South Carolina on October 13, 1957, to Douglas and Lucille Stone and lived in Effingham County for a number of years. She attended Abundant Life Church and worked for Walmart for 24 years. In her free time, Vondell enjoyed doing crafts, reading, cooking, and collecting bells. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and having family gatherings. Mrs. Vondell will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include: her loving husband, Steve Morgan; children, Mariann Conley, Sam Morgan (Chelsea) and Rubin Morgan; grandchildren, Amy Conley, Lilly Morgan, Adam Morgan, Jasmine Morgan, Violet Morgan, Renea Morgan, and Kinsley Morgan; and siblings, Mildred Griffin, and Otis Stone.

A celebration of life honoring Mrs. Vondell will be held at Abundant Life Church on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at 4pm.
