Carol Ann Souza

Carol Ann Souza, 88, entered eternal rest on March 18, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 30, 1937, in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was the cherished daughter of the late Leo D. Blais Sr. and Irene Blais.

Carol found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved getting out of the house, whether it was shopping, dining out, or spending time socializing with friends and loved ones. She was devoted to her family, always keeping a watchful and caring eye on her son. In her quieter moments, she especially enjoyed playing card games, with Rummy being her favorite.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Laura Ann Souza; her brothers, Leo D. Blais Jr., Donald Blais, and Steven Rechoet, and her sisters, Helen Blais and Gail Rechoet.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, her son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Marlene Souza; her grandchildren, Eric K. Souza, Jennifer Silva, and Nicholas Beard; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Carol will be deeply loved and dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
