Carol Denise Pigg

Carol Denise Seckinger Pigg, 65, of Rincon, Georgia and widow of William Roy Pigg, Jr., died Wednesday evening, June 17, 2026, at Effingham Hospital.

She was born in Miami, Florida on August 28, 1960, to Charles E. Seckinger and Ruth Elizaabeth Ambrose Seckinger. Carol enjoyed fishing and shopping. She also liked causing havoc with her family and friends. She recently discovered YouTube and Tik Tok laughing while watching the “cat” videos. But mostly Carol loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Roy Pigg, Jr.; father, Charles E. Seckinger; and her brother, Lauri Seckinger.

Those that will cherish her memory are her mother, Ruth Elizabeth Ambrose Seckinger; sons, Christopher Charles Pigg and Matthew Allen Pigg; and her granddaughter, Ruthanna Covington.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home.
