Calvin “David” Alford

Calvin David Alford, 56, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Hospice Savannah

David was an avid outdoorsman whose main love was fishing with his grandson Tucker. He was versatile in all trades, a master electrician, as well as a teacher of trades to many. In the words of his grand boy Tucker, he was a “classic bass master”. One of David most notable traits is his loyalty to family and friends, a man you could always count on.

David is preceded in death by his father, Robert Earl Alford.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Ann Alford; daughters, Maranda Alford, and Olivia Alford; grandchildren, Tucker, Emmitt, Lucy, and Robbie; mother, Opal Ruth Jones-Alford; Brother, Ronald (Pam) Alford; Sister Donna Sue (Gary) Norton.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 7:00pm.
