Brenda Elizabeth Timmons

Brenda Elizabeth Timmons, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026, at the age of 64.

Brenda was born in Savannah, Georgia, on September 14, 1961, to the late Lonnie and Brenda Kessler.

A nurturing spirit, Brenda pursued some college education and dedicated her life to caring for others as a self-employed caregiver. Through her work, she touched countless lives with her compassion and kindness.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Richard Timmons; sons James and Robert Timmons; daughters Jessica Timmons, Rebecca Timmons, Misty Smith, and Melanie Peppers (Nick); several grandchildren; brothers Lonnie Kessler Jr.; sisters Kathy Perry and Robyn Groce.

Her passion for nature, especially her love for flowers, was always apparent. Purple, her favorite color, reflected the depth and vibrancy of her spirit. Brenda held a special affinity for dolphins and found peace in the gentle tranquility they embodied.

A woman of great faith, Brenda found strength and solace in reading her Bible and was an avid reader of many other books. Her generosity extended beyond her family as she often cared for children, embracing them as her own. Brenda’s dedication to her community and her circle of friends was unwavering, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a moment of joy.

Brenda's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved and in the countless lives she touched. Her family invites all who knew her to join in celebrating her life and sharing memories of cherished moments.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to local charities benefiting children and community support services, honoring Brenda’s lifelong commitment to helping others.

Brenda's legacy of kindness, faith, and love will forever inspire those she leaves behind, and she will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
