Bobby Harold Jackson

Bobby Harold Jackson, passed away peacefully at his home in Guyton, Georgia, on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on December 25, 1939, in Riceboro, Georgia,

Bobby dedicated much of his life to his career as a machine tender at Owens Corporation, where his work ethic and dedication left an indelible mark. Outside of work, he was an avid coon hunter, a passion that allowed him to forge deep connections with nature and his community.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Teresa Jackson; his son, Claudis Jackson; his parents, Claudis and Janie Jackson; and his sisters, Shirley Myrick, Elizabeth McVey, and Irene Bennette.

Bobby is survived by his loving children, daughter and son-in-law, Angela Jackson & Alex Kennedy; son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas & Blythe Jackson. He was the proud grandfather of nine grandchildren, Christian Jackson, Lacy Smith, Ava Jackson, Allison Jackson, Amber Jackson, Thomas Jackson, Waylon Jackson, Scarlett Jackson, and Ivy Jackson. His legacy continues with his great-grandchildren, Travis Smith, Austin Smith, Ryan Hunter, Makayla Hunter, Allisa Hunter, Zoey Jackson, Mary Jackson, Christian Jackson, Jr., and several cherished nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Carlson and Riggs Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM. Immediately after, Bobby will be laid to rest at Springfield Cemetery Ash Street Extension Springfield, GA 31329, where friends and family are invited to celebrate his life and share fond memories.

Bobby will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the many hearts he touched throughout his lifetime.
