Ashley Marie Walker

Ashley Walker, 28, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020.

Ashley was born on September 5, 1991 in Decatur GA. She lived for many years in Grayson, GA before moving to Kannapolis, NC and then back to Grayson. A 2010 graduate of Grayson High School, she planned on furthering her education.  Ashley worked as a bartender and server for many years at several places in Georgia and North Carolina. Spending time with her family and friends brought the greatest joy to Ashley’s life. She was loved by many and will deeply be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Barbara Rey, Bette Brown, and Sue Clarke; and cousin, Frank Breighner IV.

Ashley is survived by: her son, Jaxson Stone Smith and his father, Josh Smith; sisters, Elizabeth Brown and Bailey Walker; brothers, Ian Brown and Schroeder Walker; father, John Walker; mother and stepfather, Teresa and Robert Brown; grandfathers William Rey, Phillip Brown, Carl Clarke, and John Walker Sr.; and a large family of uncles, aunts and cousins.
