Alan Usher

-Savannah- Mr. Alan Usher,73 , passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Alan was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U. S. Marines. Because of his service to our country, he was the proud receipt of two purple hearts. He was an avid outdoors man who loved to fish and ride on the golf cart, also enjoyed collecting coins, and watching old Westerns. The greatest joy came to his life through spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Francis and Beatrice Usher; and brother, Larry Usher.

Survivors include: his son, Michael Usher (Erica) of Pooler; grandchildren, Trevor, Kayton, and Kathryn; brother, David Usher (Sylvia) of Texas; sisters, Tamie Hines (Mike) of Hiltonia, and Connie Rahn (Bruce) of Springfield; friend and mother of his son, Linda Usher of Guyton; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.
